  1. PS3 sucks! X Box is the way to go!!! I finaly sold my PS3 for a low price of 150 after i finished this game! i will never go back to SONY! SONY SUCKS!!!!!!!! Am i a fan boy? no look at my other reviews i have given GOW 2 a 1 star review as well!

    HORRILBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY WHY WHY??? B/C These companies are to lazzy and know we will run out and by it b/c of the first 1!

This game is a weak effort compared to the original. Insomniac appears to be more interested in cashing in than improving the FPS species. Rent before you buy…

  2. Okay so the year is 1953 and humans are being attacked by super intelligent mutants…so I know its a fictional story….but come on, you at least need shooting that seems realistic. The game runs real smooth, almost too smooth. It’s such a ‘plastic’ game it makes me sick. The shooting is the most unrealistic shooting I’ve ever played. Goldeneye for N64 got this beat. I bought this game new on the day it came out and wanted to take it back and trade it in but the trade-in value at gamestop is only $28.50. Will either sell it on here or on craigslist. Major disappointment.

  3. The first game I ever played on PS3 was RFOM. It is the reason I bought a PS3. It absolutely changed the way I looked at video games. It had an excellent co-op mode.

I am not one of those loners that plays by myself. I seek out Co-op games to play with my son. It is our way of bonding. This game of course, has left out the campaign Co-op, and replaced it with a cheap substitute.

I work 80 hours a week, and few things in life bring me pleasure. This was supposed to be one of them. I very much looked forward to the next couple of months of gradually solving with my son. Now I’m just pissed.

I made an effort to buy the game the morning it came out. It is smooth gameplay and overall beautiful, but I actually would have passed on this

one had I known the betrayal that lie waiting.

Insomniac, I hope you choke on my $60, read the reviews, and redeem yourself on Resistance 3.

  4. This game is a weak effort compared to the original. 10 years later Half-Life is still a better game. Insomniac appears to be more interested in cashing in than improving the FPS species. Rent before you buy…

  5. As some reviewers already mentioned, the Resistance 1 was a way of bonding between fathers and sons. I used to play it often with my 2 sons after our basketball sessions. No co-op mode in Resistance 2? That sucks! I won’t be buying this game no matter how good the story is. I will pass this edition and wait for Resistance 3 (????) hoping that Insomniac will put it back as it was in the first sequel.
