If you are looking for an Entry Level HD Camcorder, this is a good one to start with. Records in 1080, small and compact. I bought it to carry in my backpack while hunting and hiking. It doesn’t accept additional accessories nor does it have a light on it. It does take great video and pictures and is a great way to get your foot in the door of recording HD Video. For all of you looking for something lightweight and compact to carry around this may be a good fit for you.

First of all if u have an itouch DO NOT buy this product! the base where your device is supposed to be placed has a dock for charging your device while playing your music through the auxiliary cable that is provided, which is great if u have an iphone, although since my itouch has its plug in for the auxiliary at the bottom it does not fit properly on the dock. Therefore I pretty much have to choose if I want to charge my itouch or play music through the auxiliary cable. I do however love that the product plugs into my car charging port in my car and I do not have to mount it anywhere. The product itself is a little wobbly in holding my itouch in the mount, although it is still more convenient then just having my itouch on my seat with me.

I was looking for a unit to hold the iPod and charge it while in use. I hook mine up to an auxillary set up in dash (FM connections sound like crap if you go wireless).
Unit is a great idea, but does not live up to the claims. The unit will not hold an iPod upright, the electrical plug connector turns in your vehicle’s electrical supply port keeping it from staying put – due to gravity and weight of iPod. The flexible arm is not really flexible, it merely moves about a bit from side to side.
I took mine apart (gasp) and purposely broke the tab which keeps the iPod portion from rotating, put it back together and use it upside down – thereby solving the unit turning problem. I bored a small hole on the right side bottom of the unit for my sound cord to plug into the bottom of the iPod. Now it works okay for my particular setup in a Ford F-150 pickup.
Way over priced for what you get…considering you have to adapt it to make it viable.

I liked the concept of charger/holder for my iPhone but, the frist day I used the product one of the side clips broke. I can still use the holder but the right side no longer has the spring tension to hold the iPhone snug in place.

Bought it despite the reviews. Worked great at first. Now, the unit must be pushed upwards in the car socket to maintain a radio connection. Going over every bump shorts out the connection intermittently. If you use the XM radio application – it has to be restarted each time the volume disconnects.
